"You don't have to be a Lance Armstong to enjoy the cardiovascular benefits of cycling. Cardiovascular conditioning takes about 8 weeks after exercising for 30 minutes, 5 days a week either on a stationary cycle or conventional, hybrid, mountain, or road cycle. Talk to the cycle specialists at "Wheel Base", telephone 301-663-9288, 229 N. Market St., Frederick, or visit their website at www.wheelbasebikes.com.
Confer with your cardiologist before initiating an exercise program.

| Your knee should be slightly bent at the bottom of the stroke. |
This is the most common bad position - don't slouch and don't have the saddle too low. |
Another common bad position is having the saddle too high. |
